Some Examples of our Heating Systems in North Wales
This section includes some examples of heating systems that we have installed in North Wales.
Solar Panels for Hot Water
Solar panels were installed on the roof allowing 50-70% of the hot water to be supplied by this sustainable source of energy without damaging the environment.
Combined with a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Ri condensing boiler (which is 'A' rated for efficiency), the system produces minimal carbon dioxide.
Complete Bathroom Installation
This job featured the complete installation of a bathroom and en-suite shower room. The project included the initial design, plumbing, electrics, installation of sanitary ware, and tiling.
Please note that electrics and tiling can be done as part of a project, but we do not provide these as standalone services.
Ground Source Heatpump
This example at Hen Dy, Dyffryn Eglwysbach, North Wales shows a Worcester combi Unit that provides domestic hot water and heating with no need for any additional boiler, tanks or cylinders. Our compact installation techniques here meant it could be fitted under a newly built staircase in the centre of the house as no flueing is required unlike oil or gas boilers. The underfloor heating system here works well under the natural slate flooring downstairs and solid oak floor upstairs. Ground Source Collector Pipework
With our wet weather here in North Wales our installations are sometimes challenging but worth the effort to see the house transformed by economical warmth at the end.
We ensure that the underground pipework meet neatly either inside the property or as shown here at a manhole access point in order to ensure ease of maintenance in the future.
Ground Source Heat Pump Internal Pipework
Whilst making use of plastic pipework where necessary, exposed surface mounted pipes look better in copper as they keep their shape (shown here pre insulation stage).
The heatpumps can be installed on mains water and well water installations as shown here, note the large cartridge filter and water pump installed.
Ground Source Heat Pump Trenches Completed
It needn’t be messy if done properly, a good example at adjoining cottages Llys Bach & Llys Mawr, Y Ffor, Pwllheli on the Lleyn Peninsula.
These beautifully renovated outbuildings are now first class holiday accommodation, heated by two totally separate under stairs fitted heatpumps and underfloor heating throughout upstairs and down stairs. View them at on the Menai Holidays website.

Small Commercial - Caravan Park
A hot water and underfloor heating system was installed at a fantastic new shower block at Plas yn Betws Caravan Park, Betws Yn Rhos. See their photos on Facebook.
